Assam TET Information:
Exam Name: Assam State Teachers Eligibility Test Shiksha Mitras and additional Siksha Mitra (Lower Primary, Book I)
Educational Qualification: A candidate interested and eligible must have minimum academic and professional qualifications as follows:
i) You must complete Higher / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known);
or
ii) Have Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% aggregate marks with at least 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms
or
iii) to finish Upper Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% Aggregate marks f with minimum 4 year Bachelor of Elementary B.Ed
or
iv) It should be clarified Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks with 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
or
v) Having graduation rate of any UGC recognized university and have 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (regardless of the grades obtained in the titration). With regard to the candidates having graduation degree and having the minimum percentage of marks specified above + 2 senior secondary higher secondary stage shall not be bound /.
Eligibility: All eligible and interested candidate must have worked as Siksha Mitra or additional Siksha Mitra at any of the 5,015 EGS centers once at the time of upgradation to Lowe Elementary. No other candidates will not be considered as eligible candidates for this test.
Price of Examination Fee: All interested and eligible candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.500 / - in the nearest branch of State Bank of India, through print preform examination fee available the official and ID" as confirmation of payment form and examination fee deposited will be accepted in the respective SSA Mission District office.
How to apply: it is required that all interested candidates and can apply through online from the official website and authorized www.tetassam.com and www.ssaassam.gov.in available from September 2014 to 01st 10 September 2014.
