BSF 1436 Constable (Tradesmen) Vacancy 2013 Border Security Force : A notification for recruitment of Constable (Tradesmen) in various trades in the pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 has been brought out by Border Security Force (BSF).

Pay Scale: PB-I Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP + other allowance such as Ration, Medical Assistance, Free Uniform, Accommodation and Leave pass etc.
Age: It should be between 18 and 23 years as on 01/08/2013. Relaxation in for SC / ST / OBC will be given as per rule.
Qualifications: Candidates must be class 10th Passed or should have equivalent qualification from a recognized board with working experience of 02 years in respective trades or Certificate of 01 year from ITI / Vocational Institute with one year experience in trade or Diploma of 02 years from ITI in trade.
Physical Standard: Height: 162.5 cms for ST, 165 cms for Hill Area Men Candidates, 167.5 cms for all others. Chest: 76-81 cms for ST, 78-83 cms for Hill Area men candidates, 78-83 cms for all other candidates. Weight: Proportionate to height according to medical stand.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: Selection for the post of constable (tradesmen) will be made by conducting Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Trade Test and Written Examination of two hours. Written Test will be of 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple choice questions based on GA / GK, Elementary Mathematic, Analytical aptitude and English / Hindi. Eligible candidates will be issued admit card for the test / interview 15 days before from the date of test.
Appplication Fee : Candidates are required to pay application of Rs.50 in the shape of Postal Order / Demand Draft in the name of Concerned IG / DIG / Commandant and Payable at the bank of Concerned Headquarter. SC / ST / EXS Candidates are not required to pay application fee.
